Whoever said anything about Mexico is a retard. Riviera Maya is mostly rocks and Cancun is MANMADE and not that great!
I haven't been to Turks and Caicos, but so far my favorite beach is in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic). Some resorts there have a wider beach than others. The new Ocean Blue/Sand is about the best. The scuba/snorkeling on that part of the island isn't the best, though.

The little island of Saint John........it is the most amazing place. I have been to many of the islands down in the Carribean and nothing compares to it!!!! Look into it....
