Where is a good place in the Caribbean to go?

I'm not going with husband but with girlfriends so I want a nice hotel and also nightlife, dancing, drinking close-by. A lot of these hotels are nice but geared to honeymoon, couples and privacy. I don't want that. And we really don't need inclusive! Thanks.

Thank-you all who replyed!! We're between Mexico and Barbados and I'm sure we'll have a great time!!

Barbados without a doubt.

In St. Lawrence gap, there are clubs, hotels, restaurants/bars even a convience store and Internet cafe. That's where you also find nightlife, hence the clubs. ;)

There's also nightlife among Bay Street, such as The Boatyard, Harbour Lights. There's also Club Xtreme in Hastings.

So I think it's perfect for you and your girlfriends. It has all what you want. :)

One thing about St.Lawrence Gap, you can use the broadwalk which is right near the beach.

If I had a choice to pick between Mexico and Barbados, it'd be Barbados because it's pretty much out of the hurricane belt and it is absolute paradise with a lot ot offer. :)

Two islands come to mind to have fun with your girlfriends, Cancun, Mexico has all-inclusive resorts and plenty of night life. The same goes for St Maarten/St Martin. Night clubs, bars, casinos and beautiful beaches.

Check out these sites for deals.

You don't say what your budget is or how many gfs. Hard to suggest a specific resort. The Palace resorts in Cancun/Riviera Maya area are very nice. The Divi Little Bay and Sonesta are good choices for St Maarten. (dutch side) On the (french side)St Martin Alamanda Resort or Esmeralda Resort.

Check the reviews on tripadvisor.com. They also have candid photos from past travelers.

Have fun and good luck with the planning)

St lucia in the Rodney bay area, or St. Martin in the Simpson bay area. These areas have lots of great non all inclusive hotels, and great restaurants and nightlife.
