There are two Puerto Ricos.
The first one (and likely the one you are referring to) is in the Caribbean region, with a north coast on the Atlantic. It is located approx. 1000 miles E/SE of Miami and 500 miles north of Caracas, Venezuela. It is east of the Dominican Republic and West of the Virgin Islands.
The second one (and a long shot), is a tourist community on the SW Coast of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands of Spain. It is located in the North Atlantic, just west of Morocco and the Western Sahara. |

A beautiful, culture-full island just east of Hispanola (Haiti/Dominican Republic) and just west of the Virgin Islands.
I highly recomend it as a future vacation spot! It is an amazing island with much to offer!!
