Where is the best all - inclusive place to stay in Jamaica in the Caribbean? |
we are going mid to late april. we are traveling for our 50th bdays (we are not the age) no kids in tow. golf,sun,fun and also,we do not need nude sunbathing(but if it is a great deal, cool)-where have ya been that may work for us?
going from site to site is exasperating-thanks in advance for your guidance

We absolutely love Sandals Negril. Great food, drinks, people. Scuba, snorkel, water sports all included. No golf on the resort but you can go to nearby sandals. Here's a great place to find out other people's opinions of this and other resorts tripadvisor.com. Try it, it won't be so exasperating! Have a wonderful time in paradise. |

The tops on my list is Grand Lido in Negril. Has everything you could want. There is a family beach and a clothing optional beach, so you have your choice. The wife and I were there a few years ago and we think it is nearly perfect for a no thinkin' no worryin' getaway. |

Try the Couples resorts, we stayed there in Sept of 06 and it has to be one of the best!!!
We stayed at Couples Swept Away in Negril!!! Couples ONLY!!! they have 4 resorts, 1 in Ochos Rios, 1 in San Souci and two in Negril. The one in Ochos has a nude island far away from the hotel - but we preferred the one in Negril ...

Lookl on line and check reviews, you can trust them.We stayed inOcho Rios ,would not do that again because it looked no different than Montego Bay but took 2-3 hours to get there.The Rui is a great property.Negril is a favorite place ti go to.Nude sunbathing is usually just girls with no tops.Not to bad.Rui properties have great buffets pretty rooms and pretty beaches.The coastline is pretty . weather good and buffets good,Didn't spend much on food just shopping. |

Depends on what you want.
If you want to go out Ocho Rios or Grand Lido.
If you want to enjoy the locals and the 8 mile beach, it has to be Negril.
Resorts like Rui, Point Village is like being in a small efficiency. Negril Garden Beach Resort is nice. All-inclusive. Beach right in front of you. 3 meals a day. Bar open until 3am in the morning. Clubs on the beach if you can handle the music outside your window. Very nice. Hedoism II - semi-nude resort. One part for clothing the other half nude beach.

The Jamaican Grand in Ocho Rios is fabulous....been there twice. Lots of activities to choose from and a huge variety of restaurants and food courts. The resort staff is top notch and very friendly. This resort is more family oriented. Another one I would recommend is Club Ambiance. It is smaller and is only for adults. The staff is outstanding, food is great and they have a wonderful beach. |
