The Manuel Antonio National Park is in a humid tropical forest zone. There are primary and secondary forests, mangrove swamps, beach vegetation and marine reserves. Common wildlife that you might see includes white-nosed coatis, agouties, two-toed sloths, various species of monkeys.
Highlights Tour
This special combination tour visits some of the most unique areas in the surrounding San Jose area. The active Poas volcano gives an everlasting impression of this geological attraction. Arenal Volcano Day Tour from Guanacaste
