Where is the best hotel in Cuba, varadero, for a young couple aged 26 and 22?

Looking for a holiday with diving, a nice pool for the day and a lively nightlife.

If it's Veradero that you're only looking for, then perhaps you'll enjoy the Paradisus Varadero Resort (Sol Melía hotel). It's a 5* and has all that you're looking for and it's gorgeous. It's an excellent chain of hotel.
As well there is Meliá Varadero (another Sol Meliá hotel) and Iberostar Veradero. These are all 5* and you will really enjoy yourselves. If you want to be sure of excellent quality with food, accomodation and fun, book nothing less than a 4*.
There is another resort that is a 3.5* - 4* but has been newly renovated called the Hotel Hotetur Palma Real. See the links below and maybe one of these will catch your attention.

Do try and take advantage of some of the day trips and for sure visit Havana.
Have an amazing time in Cuba...you won't want to leave! lol

Hopefully this was helpful for you.

I stayed at the Palma Real - it's cheep and cheerful (you get what you pay for) Wherever you end up - make sure you visit the Calle 62 (on 62nd Street) at night - great live music - propper cuban music with the locals dancing down the street outside!

I would really recommend avoiding Varadero and going to one of the Cayos (Cayo Coco or Cayo Guillermo). Great snorkelling and scuba diving there.

I stayed at the Sol Club in Cayo Guillermo, which was pretty good.

Also - you must visit Havana.

It is excellent, good food, great service, right on the beach, etc etc.
You must visit Havana and do not forget to go to see a show at the Co Co Cabana, fantastic.
Have a great time, we did.
Edit.
Or was that Club Tropicana, can not remember now, either way it was great.

I would say the Iberostar Daiquiri, there is plenty of nightlife in Varadero, the beaches and ocean are wonderful and lots of opportunities for diving, have a great time.

I would have thought that the night life on Cayo Coco was too quiet - a train ride to a disco called the "Cave of the Wild Pig".

Varadero is probably better for nightlife. The hotels down the end of the peninsular are regarded as some of the best - I have heard good words of the Paradisus.

The Royal Hicacos is Sandals.

The Melia Varadero is the best of the three Melias closer to town. The hotels nearer town from there are generally not as luxury.

Brisas del Caribe is excellent, beautiful beach, huge pool, lots going on in the evening + the town is right there if you wish to go to a disco in Varadero. You can check the reviews on trip advisor that will give you lots of info.

We went into Havanna and stayed at Hotel Saville. We loved Cuba and can't wait to go back.Havanna is very expencive so watch your money. Varadaro was great as well and cheeper. All around a great place to visit and the people are wonderful.
