Where is the best snorkeling in the Caribbean?

I would like to snorkel from the beach, but a boat trip from the hotel is an option too. The coral should not be too deep to make it easy for the kids.

Has to be Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

But then I'm biased.

Hands down BONAIRE! Bonaire is the water-sport capital of the Caribbean. I dont know the official website, but they should have one. Curacao doesnt have beaches like Bonaire, trust me, Ive been to both

The Caribbean is a big place. Where exactly are you going? The Bahamas offer great reef snorkles, Cancun has a Whale shark encounter in July, The coast of Mexico is brilliant. Jamaica and the Virgin Islands also have wonderful reefs, most are accessible right from the beach.
