Keywest, fl in USA. For Carribean, Montego Bay, Jamaica or St Martin is a nice place to go to.

As someone else said, go to St. Croix. for the same reasons they gave. Plus its a US territory, no passport needed, US dollars, and credit cards are as safe as they are in the states. Also staying in St Croix is a lot cheaper, very low key, quiet, slow paced, and did I mention the beaches, warm water, great food. You said singles? Are you going there to meet someone or to have a good time? Meet great people on sail, scuba trips, at bars and restaurants.

I loved saint Croix! It is'nt over touristy and the rooms are more reasonable. Yet ther are no people chasing you down trying to sell you crap. I went on my honeymoon and loved it.
