First I want to say congrats on your engagement!

When are you getting married? As far as a recommendation a lot is going to depend on what time of year you are traveling. There are several places that can accommodate your requests for the perfect honeymoon location in the Caribbean, however there are questions that would need to be answered before being able to recommend.

Prices are based off availability, season, resort choice, island choice (how expensive or convenient the flights are), etc. It is important to come up with an approx. budget you would like to stay around, that will help determine a potential good island for you and your Fiance.

The other is if you would like All Inclusive or non All Inclusive. Some Islands you have the option of AI, no option of AI or you have the choice of either or.

If you would like assistance I can certainly help you. Either way though I would strongly recommend working with a professional. A Honeymoon is a once in a lifetime experience that you want everything done in the power of another to make sure it is as close to perfect as possible.

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage.

There are 2 places that I have been that have the white soft powder sand, Turks and Caicos and Anguilla. The beaches and water are exquisite in both places.

I don't know what your budget or what time of year you want to go so it's hard to to suggest a certain hotel but for Turks and Caicos anywhere on Grace Bay beach you will be so very happy. It's so beautiful. Close to all the restaurants. In Anguilla, I really liked East Shoal Bay but I have not been any where else in Anguilla. I just adore the beaches.

My suggestion to you is to check out tripadvisor.com. Do your research, ask questions and go to a travel agent to book. They can do a lot for you and get you extras since you are on your honeymoon.

Once you find out where you want to go, I'm sure you will get help from Yahoo posters.

Puerto Rico rocks!!!! Great beaches, nice places to eat, amazing nightlife, and nice weather.

Nassau, Bahamas has splendid sand. It's gorgeous white!

We stayed at The Sandals Grand Bahamian (all inclusive and adult only.) and loved it there.

I lived in Puerto Rico for several years and visited at least 10 other islands in the Caribbean. PR is great, but not the best white sandy beaches.

For that I recommend Anagada ( which is hard to get to, but worth the remote almost untouched sandy beaches).

For easier access, St. Thomas and or St. John in the Virgin Islands.

Also Tortola in the British V.I. has super beaches and crystal waters.

Mayan Riviera, or Cancun has beautiful powder white beaches....as does Punta Cana in Dominican....Have Fun!
