Your best bet would be a all-inclusive in Dominican Republic. Iberostar Costa Dorada in Puerto Plata is on a great beach, very clean, elegant caribbean atmosphere. Also it's only 5 minutes from Puerto Plata. It's been rated #1 out of 48 resorts by visitors to DR. Check this resort out.
Read the reviews and view the candid photos of previous visitors.

And why do I recommend this resort, because it's in your budget range and you will have a great time in DR.

enjoy and congratulations)

How about Jamaica? They have 3 popular and beautiful resort areas: Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios. These areas are all located on the north of the island which isn't far from the Mo Bay Airtpot.

A honeymoon trip is really for two so you may want to talk with you true love and see where she'd want to go. Who knows, she may want to go to Hawaii or a short trip to Paris.

Congrats and best of luck

Check into Gatlinburg, Tn. Nice little mountain town, but not much to do in the way of night life. Not bad if you get a cabin in the mountains with a hot tub.

Bonaire! It is a tiny island (less than 10000 people) off the coast of Venezuela. Accomodations are reasonable and the food is excellent. Some of the best snorkling and diving in the world. Beautiful undeveloped beaches. Quiet city, no crowds, lovely sunsets. As laid back as you can get!!!!
