Anything that is different than the norm, even if very physical, will be relaxing. The relaxation comes because of the change of normal routine.
You can get to a lot of places in the world today on a one day flight.
If cost is not a major problem, Tuscany in northern Italy is ia great getaway for a few days. Great B&B's, Wineries, cheese sampling, scenery and tours. My wife and I went there for our 15 and 30th Anniversaries. The best vacations we have ever had.
We have been to most places in Europe, Hawaii and a few other, but the time in Northern Italy has been the most memorable. A couple of months ago we talked about going back next year. We are getting to old to wait for our 45th to come around.

Take her to Niagra Falls. It is a spectacular sight, and it is a little cooler way up north. You could squeeze in a one-day visit to Canada, or take a tour boat down the Erie canal. The tour boat is not too expensive and it is really fun. She is sure to love it! |
