Where should i vacation to in the Caribbean? |
first, we will not go to Cuba, USVI, PR, Mexico, Bahamas, DR, ext...
we want a nice place with calm waters, (swimmable, waves up to 4 or 5 inches at it's highest) warm, crystal clear blue waters, great snorkel, and not crowded. we don't mind as much if there is not many activities, we just hang out at the beach.
we were thinking about barbados, but we heard they have large waves. St. Lucia seems nice, but the place our time share has is not so great.
with your answer, can you please explain the beach?
ALSO- we will be going around November 22- December 1. If that helps due to weather. |

Barbados is a lovely place with beautiful beaches. The only large waves that i know of are at Bathsheba because that is where they surf. Our waves are not too big that you cant handle. Obviously there are beaches that are not suitable to bathe in. Long beach is a good one or you can go to the ones on the west coast as oppose to the east. |

You should look into Nevis. It is everything you have described. Its a small island with clean beaches, snorkeling, good food and friendly people. I stayed at a large villa called seascape in the cliff dwellers area with views of the water. We went to several beaches there and swam, and the waves were quite calm. There are several villas for rent or you can stay at the 4 seasons (beach on site). Everyone that I know that has been has loved it.....its so relaxing! |

Belize is the best.
-Second largest barrier reef in the world
-Very Safe
-English speaking country
-Not too touristy like Mexico or Bahamas
-Not very expensive
-Very good diving and snorkeling
-Never crowded

Try Anguilla, nothing there but beautiful beaches. Also St. Maarten is a quick ferry ride away. St. Maarten has great beaches, some even nude, great shopping, restaurants and nightlife. St. Lucia is also a good option, just avoid reduit beach as that's where most of the tourists go so it can get crowded especially on cruise ship days. |
