I would suggest you check out the duty free shops at the different island stops. I know that St. Marteen has lots of great Jewellery shops - like Little Switzerland, Columbian Emeralds, Caribbean Gems, ..... |

i think you should buy your ring and any other jewellery you want on the dutch side of ST MAARTEN it is usually cheap and most of it is made in Italy |

personally i'd get it before you went. Saves the hastle of it being fake etc cos there is alot of them about ESPECIALLY in the caribbean. |

Jewelry is extremely cheap...in the USVI. And being that it is US it has less duty free issues and same laws if there is a problem. |
