If you want private but SOOO romantic, go to British Virgin Islands and charter a boat/crew and cruise from island to island. Check out the prices, I think you would be surprised how reasonable it really is!
You have to go to Puerto Rico through most airlines and you could stay a few days there and gamble or hit the beach then fly over to the BVI. You will start in Tortola which is beautiful by itself and very quaint.
WARNING-the natives are just that-native. This is not a real resorty place and they may seem rude but that's just them. No one is in a hurry. There is only ONE stop light on the main island(Tortola) and it has not been there long.
Even if you do not charter a boat, this is a great vaca spot. You can shop local shops and swim with the dolphins. The water is Teal blue and Gorgeous! |

There is nothing better for the money if service, food/beverage quality, and pool mean the most to you (in that order). Check reviews on tripadvisor.com for further confirmation. Don't waste your time saving $50 a night someplace else, when you can go here for everything. Book through a decent travel agent and you can save 20-30% off rack rates. |
