You've already received lots of suggestions, my suggestion is Sol Melia Rio Luna y Mares, Holguin. A fantastic white sand beach, lots to do, excellent dining and a great staff. It's been my good fortune to go there 5 times out of my 10 visits to Cuba and many others I've met there are also on repeat visits. Check the links below for more info, No matter which resort you choose, you will be welcomed by our Cuban friends and chances are you will be plannng a return visit before you get back home.

Cayo Coco area, very quiet, and for romantic couples, fantastic beaches. Melia Cayo Coco is for adults only - fantastic.

Varadero really good - good hotels, and more to do, plus relatively close to Havana.

RIU hotel are good.

I've stayed at Breezes Bella Costa a few times,
and this year I went to Oasis Varadero 1920 , FAR better than Breezes! At Breezes the discos were always empty, and at Oasis they were packed. There's more activities and the nightly shows were better at Oasis. But do NOT over pack! You're in your bathing suit literally ALL day except for dinner - which is when you have to dress up. So I recommend Oasis Varadero 1920. It's all inclusive and has good activities, and AMAZING drinks lol. I've made the best memories there, I've even made friends with the performers. But the only thing that stinks is that there's a lot of people from France , so you'll hear alot of french lol. But, it's still the best I've been to.

the breezes bella costa, i've been going there for 11 years since i was 18, it fun for all ages!!! i gone with buddies, my parents and in laws my wife and another couple, and i'm going back in 2 weeks with just my wife, they treat you really well, and i can give you the salesmanager's email you bring her the smallest things and she upgrades like crazy i get a private villa everytime! there's a club right down the street this is the closest one to it called la rumba, and there's a club in the tuxpan la bamba, right next door open to the public, and a culb a few propertys down in the sol sirenas our bracelettes are the same color so you can go there too, plus there's a club right in the resort, kind of crapy though but good for a laugh before you go to a real club, the entertainment staff take you to clubs everynight, bus ride to and from.
