Apart from Cuba, the islands where there are fewest American tourists are Guadeloupe and Martinique, where French is spoken and which people from the USA avoid for that reason. There is also Haiti, but that is an island which sadly most tourists tend to avoid.

Angela G couldn't be more incorrect about the Turks and Caicos! It is swarming with US tourists in season.

none at all in Cuba - not allowed to go there. plenty of Canadians though.

Highly Favoured
There is no stats on that but the ones that have English influence tend to have more long staying visitors from England. Americans usually cruise and stay for shorter periods. Tortola has many English tourists than American.

How about Tortola? I think it is odd that you pick a vacation not by the island but by who will be there.

I went to Belize. I was on the mainland and there weren't alot of tourists around. Belize is not a island but it has alot of Keys around it. Even though it is not an island it is still part of the Caribbean. Not alot of people know about it yet.

Once again I was only on the mainland. I never went to any of the Keys. But Belize just got its independence for England about 28 years ago.

Also if you are into scuba diving they have a wonderful diving spot called the Blue Hole.
