Which Cruise Line Is The Best To Go To Eastern Carribean, Royal Carribean Or Carnival?

I have travelled on both and have to say that Royal Carribean is my favourite. We have cruised alot and I still feel that way.
Carnival used to have a name as having young party ships and although they have changed Royal Carribean is more geared towards a romantic holiday.

Royal Caribbean for your 10th Anniversary. You will have more romantic moments, less families on RC.

I have been on about 20 cruises and all over the Caribbean. I have been on four different cruise lines including RC, NCL, Princess and Celebrity. I would rate RC much better than Carnival. But then I would also rate, based on my experiences cruising, Princess and Celebrity higher than both RC and Carnival.

The ranking I would give these lines would be Celebrity, Princess, RC and then Carnival. And that rating is based on the decor, features and comfort of them ships and the quality of food, service and entertainment.

If I were doing a special anniversary cruise I would choose Celebrity or Princess and get a balcony cabin.

Royal Caribbean ships are a lot better than Carnivals. The eastern Caribbean itineraries usually offer 3 days at sea and carnival ships don't have many activities. Also the food and service on their ships leave much to be desired. With royal the service and quality are a lot better and you will definitely get your monies worth.

That's really a question only you can answer. RC and Carnival are pretty similar - they're both mainstream, budget lines. You might want to get a book on cruising from your library to get a general idea of the two lines and others. You can also check out CruiseCritic.com. Click on "Boards" and/or "Reviews" at the top of the page. In the review section, be sure an click on the past passenger reviews - they give a range of opinions and you can determine how they match with what you're looking for.

You will have a great time no matter which line you choose, I'm sure.

My wife and I have had good luck with Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. From what I hear, Carnival is more for families with young children or young singles who want to party.

Royal Carribean is geared more towards the couples and wanted to have a more romantic time. if u guys are still big kids inside then i would recommend Carnival. Carnival has many activites to do during the day and contests and swimming areas. my favorite cruise ship personally is the Carnival cruise line.
Either way, have a good time together!

Actually, I'd try Norwegian cruise line. I hear they have excellent service and affordable prices. Check priceline, or apple vacations for good deals! :-)
