For a family vacation, I highly recommend Barbados. I took my brother there a few months ago, and he loved it. He would come back.

http://www.barbados.org/barbados_family_vacations.php is something you can look into.

Barbados is breathtaking.

As a travel agent, I recommend the one in Negril. My clients' children loved Beaches.

Also, you can always check out Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas.

If you ever need to look at reviews for hotels, check out www.tripadvisor.com . These are actually everyday people that travel and will tell you what you really want to hear or know.

take them on a carib cruise from florida. you will get to see about three islands. if you leave from san juan , you will see four or five carib islands. one day each port. this is a good way to see the various islands and figure out which ones you guys like / would like to come back and see without sinking a week or two of time and money in a place.

St. Lucia is one of my favorite Island in the Caribbean. It is very lush and mountainous. the Rain forest and the Pitons are spectacular. they have tons of activities to for families to do on the island from zip lining to horseback ring through the ocean.

In my opinion Windjammer Landings Villa Resort is an excellent place to bring the family because there is something for everyone to enjoy. it is right on the beach they have three public pools, a water trampoline, water sports located on sight. there is also a kids club that is included with your stay. Windjammer also has an optional all inclusive if that is what you were looking for.

the most affordable time to go to St. Lucia is July and August.

the Atlantis in the Bahamas is fantastic for families. So beautiful and tons and tons of stuff to see and do!

I went to Breezes Curacao with my two young nephews. We had a really nice time. If your children are a little older than my nephews (at the time 2 and 4), they will have an even better time. The resort has a trapeze, rock climbing, etc.. that we all enjoyed but my nephews were too young for that. Nearby is the Dolphin Academy where you can swim with the dolphins. (within walking distance) It was a really nice family vacation! Happy travels:)
