Depends on what you're looking for... Personally I enjoyed Guanaja, Roatan, and Utilla... they're part of the bay islands of Honduras (that's central America).( Yes it's part of the Caribbean... there are many smaller islands in the Caribbean that people don't generally know about.) It is one of the best diving spots in the world, it's a well known secret among professional divers and underwater photographers. You can also visit the main land (Honduras).. the BEST part about it was how CHEAP it was. Like I said, it all depends upon what you're looking for.. for me, it was price. ~ good luck! |

St. Maarten, because it's a dual nation island with a French Side and Dutch Side. That is one. It has many beaches, it has an international airport, it is centrally located, so you can easily take short boat trips to Saba (best dive spot in the world), or Anguilla, or St. Barths. St. Martin is also a culinary haven in teh Caribbean with many gold winners in the recent Caribbean Hotel's Association contests. |

I've not been to them all but have been to Barbados, Bahamas and Cayman Islands. The Cayman Islands was the nicest place out of the three, really clean, no hassle from locals, great beaches, great diving, great food, great hotel. Lot's to do, nice markets, shopping. |

The best all round holiday would have to be in cuba. It has something for everyone. Havana for the history and culture, varadero for really nice beaches, also plenty to do like jet ski rides down the groves, swimming with dolphins, copa cabanna for a good night out (havana). or just relax by the pool in many good hotels. |

It depends on a person's needs. if you love whale watching, waterfalls--Dominica is the best. If you love windsurfing, lots of beach activities, lots of beach exploring, good duty-free shopping, good cricket, yachting, rich history--Antigua is compact; I also has over 300 beaches including pink sand beaches in Barbuda its sister isle. If you Spanish music, salsa, and a rustic Caribbean--Cuba is fine. If you love horse-racing, hockey and cave exploration--Barbados is fun. The best thing to do is to click on Yahoo search and click Caribbean. Spend some time reading the visitors reviews and do your won homework.

DOMINICA
Described by Skin Diver magazine as the “Queen of the Natural Caribbean” Dominica is an outdoor world of adventure, excitement and unforgettable experiences. The youngest island in the Caribbean, erosion has yet to dull the sharpness of its terrain from se level to peaks of almost 5,000 feet, there are 12 major waterfalls, six varieties of tropical forest, a river for everyday of the year, and more shades of green than you thought existed.
I may be biased but If you are looking for a truely relaxing and unspoiled Caribbean experience Dominica is it. Recently featured in the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean the Dead Man's Chest.
Dominica is blessed with a multitude of natural resources making it a paradise for nature lovers and eco-conscious tourists. When traveling the mountainous roads of Dominica, you are on a rewarding journey to discovery. Dominica is an outdoor world of adventure, excitement and unforgettable experiences believe me we are not the typical Caribbean image portrayed in most commercials; there are not any of the obtrusive concrete resorts, bustling casinos… or long stretches or sugar-white beach filled with a zillion tourists, instead you find Mother Nature at her finest. |

Antigua - Beautiful white beaches, gorgeous turquoise sea, friendly locals and completely unspoilt. Fortunately, it has yet to go down the path of Barbados by becoming commercialised.
If you can, stay at Blue Waters - an amazing hotel. |

Only one place ANGUILLA its a small British independent island approximately 36miles long 3miles wide and it has the most beautiful beaches in the world The hotels are rated as some of the top hotels anywhere in the Caribbean. Anguilla was rated No1 best place for vacation by the rich and famous on MTV. although you can stay on the island at a very reasonable price. Their is virtually no crime so its a safe place for couples, families and single people day or night The whole island is one of beauty nowhere will you see any run down places or no go areas its a safe peaceful island with friendly English speaking people with fantastic eating out places lots to do and see once you've been on the Rock (as the locals call it) you will never want to leave it |

Most any island is my the best in my opinion....but I think one of the best is Bequia. It is a small island about 8 miles S. of St. Vincent. It is laid back and quiet. You can take boat tours to Mustique or Tobago Cays (which is beautiful) or if you are craving some big city life you can take the ferry to St. Vincent, climb the volcano, take a jeep tour through incredible countryside in St. Vincent and come back to your quiet little island. |

Aruba is the prettiest island in the Caribbean.
The Bahamas are a nice place to visit - Paradise Island to be more specific.
The Cayman Islands and Cozumel are interesting but not a tropical paradise...that's Aruba. |
