May I suggest Barbados, not only it's a beautiful island, but that country is PARADISE!

It has a lot of beaches, a lot of places to see, such as Atlantis Submarine, Jolly Roger, Harrison Cove, and so on.

For duty free shopping, there are Cave Shepherd stores. :)

Hope this helps.

Grand Cayman. Lots to do, it's a wealthy country, no unemployment, crime is almost non-existent. Travelers MUST have a return ticket in their possession when they arrive, so there's no homelessness unless someone chooses to be so.

It's one of the few places in the Caribbean where I have felt absolutely safe.

I'd say Curacao.
Has a nice and relaxing enviroment
Easy to get around with either public transportation, pre-arranged transportation or rental car
Plenty to do for everyone (beach, boat trip, mountain climbing, hiking, shopping, sea aquarium, dolphin academy, ostriches, interesting museums, and more)
Good varietty of both local and international cuisine.

The Cayman Islands are a must

If you all have passports, I would suggest Cancun or Dominican Republic. There are many reasonable resorts for you and your family and they are all-inclusive. If you don't have passports the US Virgin Islands are possessions of the USA and you only need a birth certificate and photo ID to travel there this year. Next year the requirement may change.

There are many websites to assist you but I like this one.

And for reviews of resorts, check this site

Have a fun vacation and good luck with your research.

Grand Cayman, St. Thomas ... St. Lucia is okay too. I'd try iBtraveling.com and see what it has for families traveling to the Caribbean. Cruises would be my thought, since you could visit lots of islands and there'll be something to do on board for all different ages, including yourself. We did St. Lucia with a 13 and 17 yr. old and they got bored after awhile at just one resort, but cruising...I hardly ever saw them since they met so many other kids and found tons to do. Carnival would be best for the 18 and 21 year old though. They've got lots to do for them and also the 14 year old. You'll have fun just watching them have fun.
