My husband and I stayed at the Dreams Resort in Punta Cana
for our honeymoon (this past april). We loved it and enjoyed it

If you want absolutly to go to Punta Cana just ask Happy Feet he knows a lot about it.
But on the other hand if you want to discover Puerto Plata is 10x better.

Some of the hotels mentioned by others are not five star hotels (even if they are recommended), so please take note.

The TripAdvisor site recommends Tortuga Bay

I went to Babaro complex

it's five hotels in one and you have acess to all of them even tho your room is only one of them and you can only sleep there

it is awsome and the casion has a show called flamingo that is very famous in DR and the go to tv shows all the time

I've been to Riu and Excellence, and we "loved" it, the service is great, the accomodations are great, if you are like us then you def need a comfortable bed, a nice size bathroom, in other words, you want to go to the caribbean but with the accomodations we have here in the USA, and trust me these 2 hotels have that.....you will love it! HAVE FUN!!=)
