St. lucia is nice but all the hotels are on a cliff and you have to haul your stuff down 2 the beach...no fun.
If it were me I'd pick the Virgin Islands.
In St Thomas there are ferries to a ton of islands you can take. You can go to a new place every day. St john, st croix, jost van dyke, Virgin Gorda, Tortola (BVI) and a ton of others. Then you can say you've been to a ton of places for your honey moon. |

It is hard to find a place that isn't beautiful in the Caribbean but St Lucia is very nice. So is Martinique.
If you two are really in love and all is right with the world, it won't matter a bit where you go!
Cheers. |

in my opinion i believe that you should do some research on the islands and what kind of entertainment they have or activities. some places i recommend is Tobago and the Bahamas. i know personally that Tobago have a lot of beautiful beaches and also they have things such a scuba diving and snorkeling. But i recommend that you do some research. and both of you should decide this together.
Congrats on the wedding |

you may want to take a look at Fiji if you haven't booked yet
there are several Fiji resorts that are priced right typically you can get in one for about 7 days anywhere from $750 - a few thousand.
Here is a link to check out the ones on Adventure Brat.

I must agree with Princess, Tobago is an excellent spot for your honeymoon. Its quiet, peaceful, beautiful. There are activities, like snorkling, scuba diving, siteseeing etc but you can choose to do nothing but laze by the pool, or by the beach if you soo choose. even on its busiest days, tobago is really peaceful.
hope that helped |

We went to St. Thomas and loved every minute of it. We took the ferry to St. John twice. It was breath-taking! We stayed at a private villa called Harmony Suite. You can't get closer to paradise if you try. We went hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, shopping, etc. There is a lot to do. Check out www.harmonysuite.com
The owners are great. Congratulations and have fun! |

St. Luica is okay...I'd pick the Westin Hotel if I were there again. For a honeymoon...check out the Westin Hotel on St. John. quiet, awesome beach...and if you want excitment, then hop a 20 min. ferry to St. Thomas. Try ibtraveling.com for some good travel sites to compare and read and learn about the islands. Happy honeymooning! :) |
