Which island should i go to for Spring Break?

I know exactly what i want out of a vacation but i don't know which island would best offer it. I want to spend my days relaxing on a quiet beach, or possibly going on some kind of cave/waterfall/jungle exploration. I love snorkeling so i have to be sure the island is good for that. I also am on SPRING BREAK! So i definitely want the island to have some pretty good nightclubs and shopping.

All your descriptions are offered by one country, a small Caribbean country, BELIZE. It seems that eveyone is telling you Jamaica but if you like snorkling...let me tell you that Jamaica's coral reef ecosystem is not all that great since there is too much over fishing in reef waters, this causing the depletion of many reef fish that you would not be able to see. (Check it yourself, check my sources). In fact, if you are yearning for a quiet beach...go to Placencia or San Pedro Ambergris Caye...it's so peaceful! Belize has the majestic Mayan Temples hidden in its lushus rainforest. Snorkling...is one of Belize's synonyms! Belize has a colorful and diverse marine underwater world! Furthermore, it has one of the world heritage sites, the GREAT BLUE HOLE, it's amazing! I have gone snorkling there, it's so unique...unforgettable experience. Nightlife in San Pedro is great!

Droping the waterfalls and the thick jungle, Curacao has all the rest. Relaxing beaches for everyone, snorkling sites just of from most beaches, great night clubs, and plenty of shops.

Well Nathan... Jamaica is the place to be, we offer all those activities and much more:

Relaxing on a quiet beach... Negril, Jamaica's spring break hot spot has nine miles of non stop pure white sandy beaches. There are plenty of all-inclusive hotel with good packages which you can choose from. A few good ones that I've been to are: Hedonism II, Beaches Negril and Sandals Negril. There are tons of others however.
Negril is not your only option however. Other spring break hotspots are also in Ochi Rios and Montego Bay.

With regards to outdoor exploration Jamaica provides this as well. In Negril, there is the Negril Cliffs which were used as a backdrop for the James Bond film "Thunderball."

In Montego Bay, there's the Windmaker's Cave. This underwater cave is one of the most popular destinations for divers in Montego Bay.

In Ochi Rios there is the Dunn's River Fall and the Laughing Waters which are both waterfalls. You can also visit the Green Grotto Caves.

Almost all hotels and resorts in Jamaica provide snorkeling as well as other watersports such as scuba diving, kayaking, parasailing, jet skiing among others.

Night life is the best in Jamaica. We have a number of clubs and resturants for you to go and enjoy yourself. Concerts are held almost every night at the hotels as well. We also have a wide range of shopping activities, including our world renowned craft markets.

Trust me Jamaica is the place to be, especially during Spring Break. You can check out tripadvisor.com for more details and you'll hear from the thousands of spring breakers who come here every year and their fantastic reviews of the island.

See you soon! :)

if you want beautiful beaches, great snorkeling or scuba diving experience, night life, shopping duty free, culture, swim and play with wild but tame stingrays, hold turtles, then look no future...Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands has exactly what you are looking for, whether you want to rent wave runners or do some off shore snorkeling, any thing you do, I will personally say that when you leave Cayman, it is something that you can never forget, People who were not born in Cayman but lived or even visited Cayman call it Home..its a wonderful experience, you or anyone can enjoy. The water is so clear that visibility is great, the reef is spectacular...

Based on your interest I would recommend going to Belize. You can fly into Belize City then take a "water-taxi" to one of their Islands (called Cayes). Check out Caye Caulker (backpackers love it) or also San Pedro Town (on Ambergris Caye). You will enjoy the best of snorkeling and/or diving because they've got the second best reef in the world about 1 mile off their shores. For night life you will enjoy the punta music and their local beer, called Belikin (search the Belikin Beer Song for more about it). Then go into the mainland and explore the Mayan ruins and their Rainforest... and also do their "cave tubing". However, don't expect a "Disney World" kind of experience as Belize is kind of rough around the edges... and that's a positive thing.
