Actually, The Bahamas is not Caribbean per se. They have the lifestyle and participate in Caribbean affairs like someone mentions. Little known fact. If anything its closer to the state of Florida. To answer the question..either is fine.

It would be the same when i ask:
Wich one is better? Houston or the USA?

The Bahamas is IN the Caribbean
Like Houston in the USA
Like France in Europe
Like Brazil in South America
etc etc

succes

The Bahamas is not actually in the Caribbean, but participates in Caribbean affairs. All of the Islands in the Caribbean are worth visiting, but the Bahamas is the only one with 700 Islands and Cays. This means that you have a larger choice. You can visit Nassau, Andros, Eleuthera, Spanish Wells, and Harbor Island all in a week because they are very close to each other. Similarly, arrangements for accommodations, Air, ground, and sea transportation to the other islands are available and affordable.Your fun filled vacation will be indescribable.

Travel Bahamas

The Bahamas is a perfect travel location; less than 100 miles off the coast of Florida, the perfect Caribbean climate averaging a little over 75 degrees, the hotels of Nassau are convenient to crystal clear turquoise blue and beautiful waters, pearly white beaches, outstanding international hotels.

The Islands of the Bahamas are perfect for snorkeling tours, the best golf courses, cruising adventures, or scuba diving tours.

I just back from a Carnival Cruise from the Bahams with my husband and it was excellent! You can not ask for a better vacations!

It is better to go to The Bahamas. There is more to do, more to see and more places to go. The bahamas is made up of 700 islands and cays, so you can go island hopping. Also, it is closer to the U.S.

Jas
i have been to both places on a cruise well two seperate ones
and i think i liked the bahamas better because it is way more out their
