an all inclusive resort like Sandals is probably the best bet they have hotels on islands such as Jamaica St.Lucia and the bahamas

Additionally look for lesser known islands that are not not to touristy eg St.Vincent and the Grenadines or Grenada. As with all Caribbean islands they have the same sparkling white sand beaches, the sun , the people are friendly and vacationing there is relatively cheap. Also st.Vincent is volcanic so there are eco-tourism activities as well

Get a vacation package from a major resort, like Sandals. They have many locations throughout the Caribbean.

In the Dominican Republic you can get a nice decent resort all-inclusive with airfare. It won't be a 5 star but you will have a great time. The area that is very nice is Punta Cana on Bavaro Beach or two other areas that's nice is La Romano or Puerto Plata. You don't say what your budget is or where you are flying from so it's hard to pinpoint a specific resort.

Ivan's stress free bar and campround, Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands. Rent a cabin for about 60 a night. Pretty bare, bed, lamp and fan, but you won't spend much time indoors anyways. Ivan's works on the honor code. There is a shared kitchen for all guests, bring your own groceries. And the bar..write down what you have in the book and pay at the end of your stay. Ivan has a big bbq every thursday night. You're right on white bay, directly on the beach, 2 minute walk to the soggy dollar bar, a five minute taxi ride to world famous foxy's. Heaven on earth, and the friendlist people in the world!!

I've been to several Caribbean islands and none did it for me like ARUBA. The hospitality was awesome. The choice of foods was great. I'm glad I didnt choose the all inclusive package because I would have missed out on all the location to eat. the night clubs were awesome. the party bus was a thing to remember. the horse back ride to the natural side of the island was amazing along with the ATV tours. Rent a car and take a trip to the light house and just relax under the moonlight. THERE ARE NO MOSQUITOS IN ARUBA. Yes it's true It was not humid though it was hot but there was "always" cool breeze. The beaches were so calm. Much calmers than Mexico's Cancun. Can cun was definately fun but TOOOOOOOOOOOO crowded. Aruba wasn't crowded at all. (Unless you stay at a large hotel) Stick to the Low Rise Zone ans there are too zones. In the Low Rise zone you're closer to downtown. Some say you don't need a car because it's such a small direct island that buses take you up and don the strip at a very cheap rate. I felt so safe in ARUBA. Excellent climate. and it's practically huricane free. (since it sit under the huricane strip)
