Essentially, it is someone who beleives in the divinity of the ethiopian emporer Hailie Selassie 1.

xpsupernoobfestxp
It is a religion based in Jamaica worshiping Jah. Rastafaris also used to support Ethiopian emperor Haile Sellasie. Listen to reggae music by Peter Tosh and Bob Marley and you will hear references to Jah, as in Peter Tosh's "Let Jah Be Praised" etc.

Jamerican Steve
Rastafarian is not just for Jamaica but for the Caribbean as well. You can often tell them by their dreadlocks which means "fear of the Lord" and the foods (kosher) they eat.

Adam-Scott Superville
one who practices rastafarianism aka a rasta it is suggested to jamaica because jamaica is known for their rastas the all wear a hairstyle known as the rass rastafarianism is religion

MO
Someone who knows that Jesus was a black African, follows the teachings of Marcus Garvey, wants to see Babylon fall, believes in the divinity of Selassie, wants to return to the motherland of Ethiopia, and is socially / politically conscious .....just to begin.
