Who thinks that you need a passport to go to Puerto Rico?

If you are going to Puerto Rico your state`s drivers lisence is the only required ID to board plane. If youare going to go on a cruise from here you will need a passport when you get back to go through customs. The reason why this is necessary is because you may go to foreing ports. As long as you stay in Puerto Rico, it`s possessions and the United States Virgin Islands you most definitely do not need a passport and Puerto Rico is not a country it is a colony of the United States no matter what the local Popular Democratic Party tells you. They are big liars, that`s why our governor is being prosecuted he`s a liar and a crook like the rest of his party

In 2009 you will need to have a passport to travel out of the USA by Land, Air, and Sea.

Currently all you need to have is a birth certificate and a state issued ID.

The passport requirement does NOT apply to U.S. citizens travelling to or returning directly from a U.S. territory.

So the answer to your question is NO you do not need a passport to travel within the US, PR, VI, and other US territories,

You need a passport to fly to PR as well. I just flew there last month for a cruise I went on and JFK airport made us take out our passports in order to get through security at the airport. They would only accept passports. Even though it is US Territory you still need a passport. Someone asked that when we were in line and they said they now require it. You also need it when flying back into the US from PR. They asked us to take out ONLY our passports. Someone had a state ID and the official said do you have a passport, you need your passport out to board the plan to PR and to get back here from PR.

I know the GOV website says you don't need to but they made us have them Flying to and from PR.

Yes You are correct. You dont need a passport and all politicians are liars. What we need is Anarchy and State Id's.
