Why Jamaicans Loves to steer at people?
Everytime I land in Jamaica at the Norman Manley airport people constantly steering at me. Everywhere I go in Jamaica all I see is eyes steering me down. Why is that? I know I aint ugly.
Beauty deserves constant staring, but ugliness is hell of a thing, we have to constantly check to see if it's created, self inflicted, adopted or evolved.
We just want to be certain before we start to describe the phenomenon, and we sure have the appropriate words.

They are either staring because they aren't used to seeing people who look like you, or you're paranoid. The correct spelling is stare, and you aren't ugly (or so you say).

Jamaicans know if your a Foreigner from a mile away. You don't even have to talk. I get the stares also. Nothing bad. There's no law that says people can't stare.
Because they can tell you not from there...or dont live there...it happens to me EVERYWHERE i go in Jamaica! From i reach the airport, till im coming back to Miami.....they just know your a "foreigner"...lol..and dont let me open my mouth and speak...lawwwddd...

they can probably tell you're not from there...lol...doh worry, it's that way everywhere you go...you said you weren't ugly so maybe they like the way you look...take it all in stride and enjoy the staressss hun!

Maybe they're not staring at you. The airport isn't exactly the most fun place to be. Don't you usually find yourself staring out in space if you have nothing better to do than twiddle your fingers and wait on your delayed flight? Maybe you're staring at them, and they're not even looking at you, they could just be looking in your direction......just a thought =)
On any account, I don't think they are hostile stares!
