my girl its not jamaican man alone who are self-conscious and beat there woman. so don't make it look that way. your boyfriend has issues that i think you and him should try and work out. if he is interested in doing that. jamaican men are studdorn and don't like change. good luck and i wish you and him the best.

You've been asking questions about this man who is obviously neither caring nor loving toward you. Please don't jump to conclusions about all Jamaican men. Your "man," and I use that word loosely, does not represent all Jamaican men. Like any other country, some weak Jamaican men do but many others do not. My Jamaican man has never put a finger on me and my many friends who have JA men as well, have never experienced that either. I also think you have a serious problem on your hands. While you seem to recognize that your guy has some unresolved issues, you remain in denial as if you think somehow, you are special and he won't harm you. I'm predicting that soon, you will be here on yahoo asking questions about what to do when he beats the crap out of you. What is it about him that you desire so much? Is it money or sex? Is it because of low self-esteem? Is it because you are living in some sort of fantasy? You'd better wake up soon because you sound as if you are in love with love. Don't try to console yourself by insisting that all Jamaican men "beat the stew out of their women." Stop living in fool's paradise.

You really need to leave him. He will not change and you cannot make him change. You are young and have plenty of time to meet someone who will treat you right. Your self esteem needs work. Take some time away from men all together to figure out why you have been putting up with this kind of treatment from your boyfriend. Also, not all Jamaicans behave in the ways of your boyfriend. Are you really sure he is Jamaican in the first place? It seems from your previous questions he has tried to fool you once or twice before. Again, the most important things right now are that you 1) leave him and 2) figure out why you put up with this treatment in the first place. If you don't figure it out, you will be attracted to different men that display the same types of behaviors. Good luck and make good choices.

First off, he already told you he would beat your ***, now if he wasn't playing, then I would run for the hills. Don't wait around for domestic violence to happen, leave while you still can. Love is blind, and that can get you into big trouble. So, open your eyes.

The only thing I noticed about Jamaican men is their big egos and confidence. As far as they all beat their women, that's a lie. But then even if that were true, why would you be with him in the first place? That's like saying "I heard Muslim men want their women to be covered" Well, yeah so why would you get involved in the first place? A REAL MAN would never lay his hands on his partner in a negative way or even threaten to do so.
You need to get out of this quick before it's too late. Tell all of your friends and family what's going on and keep records of what he says and does to you while you are on your way OUT of this relationship or if he bothers you after you leave him. That way, if something happens to you, people will know where to look to. GET OUT OF THIS NOW. Even you yourself know you aren't being treated right so what more do you need?

Please don't project your boyfriend's shortcomings on all Jamaican men. I know many Jamaican men that are relaxed and treat women with respect. Your man has his own issues that have nothing to do with his race..... you need to get out of that relationship and stop blaming his stupidity on his heritage.
