Why do I have a mug from Jamaica?

I've just noticed that the mug which holds my tea says "Greetings from Jamaica". I live in Scotland and have never been to Jamaica. I can't think of any friends or family who have been there. It's puzzling.

Does anyone else have mugs/plates from foreign places and no idea how they got them?

I left it there last week. See if your mom finished my laundry and stick it with the pile. I'll pick it up tonight around two am when I make my rounds...

When u visit Jamaica people tend to bring back the notorious "mug" as a souvenir unfortunately I have many and I'm half jamaican and I've never bought one.
Either a family member brought one back and u forgot.

I live in the US and have a didgeridoo. That's the long wind instrument from Australia. I have never been there. I really have 2! I do know how I got them.

i am guessing u went by someone and used it and brought it home. or mixed it with another mug by someones home.
someone visited u and forgot it.

No, I can't remember having anything from a foreign country and don't know how I got them. Most of my gifts like that someone gave me. It is possible that someone brought it and leave it there and can't remember. If the owner sees it they will remember.

Lots of Jamaicans live in the UK so you would definitely see something with Jamaica on it. You have to ask yourself how long you had the cup. Unless the print is very tiny that you did not notice before. Here in Barbados we have Barbados t-shirt that have 'made in China'. Don't worry too much about it.
