Why do young white tourist girls are all that in PR?

I'm Puertorrican and live in PR and unfortunately, most Americans think of us as if we are some kind of indian tribe, 3rd world is a good description for it. But don't get me wrong, some Puertorricans think of Dominicans and Blacks as inferior, I guess is a natural thing among cultures, its wrong but sadly true.

There are some people that are just like that regardless of race. I know its disappointing that people can be like that. But don't classify them by race. There are people like that in every race, black, white, hispanic...ect...

It was just that group of girls that are like that because they were probably raised that way.

idk..i havent seen that in pr...but maybe they're those girls that just think theyre better than everyone...i've seen them before.
i think the the only reason the spanish girls do it..is bc in the us theres different groups of people ...like jocks...prepps..nerds..and here in PR we dont have any of that...its like one big family. but we know about it bc of all the teen movies about school and stuff..

I went to Puerto Rico a while ago on vacation and stayed at the Conquistador, one of its best hotels. I met a couple of "white girls" from sarasota and since I was born and raised in PR, they didn't know I was from the States as well.
They were both extremely nice to me, and anyone else I saw them talk to.

well i could say that not everybody from the mainland are like that but some are really ignorant and act like that thinking they are superior to us i dint exactly felt that until i went to a student trip to DC and the kids from the other state wore asking these really reticules and stupid questions about Puerto Rico for example some of this/ do you know what an ipod is do you guys have ipods in Puerto Rico?//sense you are not from the city( san juan) do they have cars and roads in the town you live in?//do you live in like indean style huds?//do you have fast foods restaurants like bk McDonald..etc in the island?/// and meny others the sad part is that they worent asking that has a joke like me and my Friends thought those wore actual real questions

Puerto Rico is not a 3rd world country. Actually I would say it's the best country in the caribbean w/ a good economy. Anyways, they're stupid! Everytime I go to San Juan i notice that also. They think they are better than the locals. Why? They're stupid && ignorant...we shake em off! No one needs such ignorance...im puerto rican and I love going to San Juan except that in the tourist places it has lots of ignorant people!
