Generally we do get along, but SOME Trinis feel threatened by us Jamaicans!
Every now and then you hear stories of 'minor' clashes between Jamaicans and Trinidadians in Trinidad. You dont hear this type of clash happening in Jamaica. Usually its on the University campus (St. Augustine).
My explaination? Jamaican Rudebwoys make BETTER LOVERS. Proof? All the comments above (defending us) are from females! Go figure! This the Jamaica section but one trini is even married to a Jamaican!

I thought jamaicans love spicey food? But no! Trini men EAT spice every day...even raw. Now Kartel would NEVER have a song name "Romping Shop" if he was talking about eating RAW spice. Go figure it out!

I am a Jamaican with plenty of friends from Trinidad and we get along fine. In fact, I have never had a problem with the Trinidadians that I have met. |
