If you ever get the pleasure to go you will find out very quickly :)
Its a tropical island with beautiful beaches & great weather. There are lush green mountians & a cool rain forest. Huge cave formations & bioluminescent bays that glow at night. Friendly people that like to have fun & delicious food. Just to much for me to explain, but this will show you a little bit

Maybe because of the panoramic scenes/ the clear waters of its beaches and tropic weather. Can't forget the fertility of its soil. |

To tell you the truth, I have no idea, but if you know the answer or later on find it, please let me know. To me (in my personal opinion) its because its fully riched on history, folk stories and urban legends that it enchants the ears of any person, besides that its also a very beautiful island. |

Puerto Rico is a blend of pleasures of different cultures. The food and music is a combination of spanish, european cuisine with african roots. U can see the modern US influence in our language and working habits. In Puerto Rico u can go to a beach to escape from the cold or go into the central mountains to escape the bustling city in less than hour driving time. |

Well I'm from Puerto Rico, and I moved to the mainland 35 years ago. I go to Puerto Rico every year to visit my family, but honest truth, It is a very corrupted island. Everything is corruption, the government, the educational system, the law enforcement, everything. The people are getting suffocated little by little with high prices, killings, etc., If I would make a list I would never finish. By the way, my father was ill and went to one of the "best' hospitals" El Centro Medico de Rio Piedras, and died from negligence for there was no beds, no doctors, no nothing, and in top of that he was used as a guinea pig. To me the whole island is a shame, not the shinning star or the enchantment island any more. |

It's more like the island of UFOs and santeria. Loiza is the santeria capital of the West, and the largest UFO Satellite dish is located in Puerto Rico. That money could have been used to help the poor or for a more meaningful purpose.
