T&T number one industry isn't tourism. It is petro-chemicals.
It is because Trinidadians don't let nonsense stress them out... They take everything in stride...... Elections lead to celebration..... Holidays are times to hang with friends and have a good time and then there is carnival...... The worlds greatest show on earth..... Which pretty much starts from the day after Christmas until lent begins. |

Because we r known for our Carnival! Our number one industry isnt tourism so when the tourists come we ensure them a good time!! However we have a beautiful bird sanctuary, a vineyard & winery (yes Trini produces wine!), the beach in the NE which is popular for turtle season, pan, the Tobago Jazz Festival which attracts people worldwide etc etc. SInce Carnival is the biggest non-sectarian event I guess thats what people remembert!! |

Trinidad is well know for it Carnival. Also Soca, and for having natural and oil. But not as a Party island. As far a i know. |
