They can't handle their business, the responsibilities of being a man. So they take it out on the women, who they feel is the weaker sex. It's embarrassing to show their weaknesses / inabilities around men. To make themselves seem stronger, they take out their frustrations on females. Sad, but it's the truth.

I think it's because they're not strong enough and want to prove themselves by hurting somebody, because some people think it makes them look stronger, real man... I think they're weaker then these women even.

Make NO assumptions. Physical abuse or 'offensiveness' cannot EVER be right, but i have seen SO many different reasons for this that I would have to look on each case individually before casting judgement.

WHY, is not always simple, because triggers can come from anywhere....alcoholism, upbringing, mental illness (on the part of either the man or the woman), or just inability to deal with sudden or chronic stresses.

Men are 'stronger', so we tend to blame them first, but do not forget that WOMEN take up guns, knives and even acid against their husbands. A woman who intends to harm in a criminal way can be just as vicious in these times.

Without taking gender into consideration, violence can occur for many types of jealousy and suspicions, ranging from sexual infidelity to FINANCIAL infidelity and beyond. Sometimes one is guilty of a crime and the other (dead or injured partner) is guilty of cruelty beyond all imaginable proportions...

In all cases, wrong is wrong. But if you not judging each case based on the specific details, you are likely to resort to statistics or stereotypes. Both of which are unreliable in trying to understand the course of a REAL RELATIONSHIP.

We are in a world where both men and women have even been known to kill thier partners for insurance money!

I say take the time to listen before judging people. I certianly not going to lash out against any man AUTOMATICALLY. I will however advise ANY person facing abuse to LEAVE. That is the only thing that i would call a fair presumption in virtually all cases.

Most men are rude, inconsiderate, and unfaithful. So this kind of behavior on their part is not surprising. I, personally, would never accept it, though.
