it is all the media doing..the killings..thief anywhere you turn..no respect for anyone anymore..I am from trinidad, living in canada and I love my country no matter what..I think people just fed up of all the things that is going wrong...so they call the radio, newspaper and voice
their complaints..only the trinis who embarass of where they come from..living in or out of the country are the ones who put down the country...they shame..I say to hell with them..

Happy New Year guys. I hear you about the negatives but when l visit the other islands and see how others live, trust me, that's the best way to have an appreciation for what you have yes.

People who has good things to say, have little or no time to say it because they are out there doing good.
Weak, bad minded people who has nothing good to say, has so much idle time on hand, that their negative expressions is their only way of breathing. Please don't worry, they will soon run out of breath. Then we shall resuscitate them with patriotism, positive attitudes, self worthiness and love for mankind.
One Love.

It is immature to think that because one sees the faults in your country that means that you have no sense of patriotism.

Indeed it is because one sees the tremendous potential for improvement knowing that we could do better that compels you to say something when you see nonsense.

Complacency is the forerunner of mediocrity. It is those who always question themselves, always striving to see where they can improve, always critical of themselves, those are the ones who will continue to improve.

Say what you want about the United States, but I have never seen a people so quick to critisise themselves, so quick to set the bar at the highest level and beat themselves up when they do not achieve it. Yet I have met many Americans who willingly admit to the short comings in their society at the same time express great pride in what their country has become so far.
