I go for the food, the weather, it doesn;'t take that long to get there, and is WAY cheaper than Hawaii. I have been to Jamaica 4 times now in the last 2 years. if you are Jamaican, I so appreciate the kindness shown to tourists, bumbling idiots that we are. i tip even when stupid Super clubs say it is not allowed. the Sangster Airport has MUCH improved...I still see the poverty and occasional violence breaking out in the streets and it worries me no end, I wish it could be better for the people, why does it have to be like that when the tourism business is so good???

They go for the fun.....the foods is finger licking it's good and the weather is great....and the people's is full of respect for the visitors....they treat you like sliver and gold.....the country side is more fun.
