Will I be able to txt message when I'm in the Bahamas?
I know if I call people, there will be the outrageous roaming fee. So I was wondering if I will be able to text. I have an AT&T Tilt, so it's basically new-ish. Thanks for your time!!!!
At&t charges 2.79 per minute for calls, and .45 cents per txt. They add up quickly.

I just got back from the Bahamas and I made calls and your correct there was a ridiculous fee. 2.50 per min on some and 2.99 on others. It is considered international waters. I knew that but we were having a hard time getting the radios to work and my DH didn't go on this trip so we touched base each day. Most of the time your saying hello can you hear me... so my advise is to just tell who ever that you will be back in a week and see ya then. Don't make the calls, Now on an other note you can call the provider and see if they can provide you with a special rate. At least that is what sprint told me to do the next time. My suggestion is skip it!
