Yes

Yes you will. T-Mobile is in Puerto Rico. You will actually have better service than people who bought their Sidekick in Puerto Rico. I say that because T-Mobile bought SunCom and people who got contracts with T-Mobile in PR will still be using only SunCom's cell phone towers, which are not that great. But since you have T-Mobile service from the states you will pick up signal from whoever is available without being charged roaming charges AT ALL!!! I had T-Mobile when I was in the states and I used my Sidekick in PR with no problem!! I miss my Sidekick. But the point is you will have no issues with your phone.

Ok. T-Mobile sells sidekicks and have service here in Puerto Rico. I recommend you to call T-Mobile and confirm this information.

Yes you will have service, your sidekick will get EDGE and connect to AIM and any other internet app. But it really depends on the area you are, if you're in rural areas you might get only some GSM signal or regular EDGE. All the Sidekick models are available in Puerto Rico and are selling well.

T-Mobile bought out Suncom a few months ago. So your phone will not say Suncom. It will say T-Mobile. Just call them or go to one of their kiosks at the malls if you want to change to a PR number which will be area code 787 or 939.

Yes it will work. But the company is called SunCom. Oh thats weird i live in NY and have a sidekick 2008 like you.

yes you will. make sure your it says suncom(it will say that instead of T-mobile on screen) on it if it doesnt turn it off and turn it back on. Works perfectly fine.
