if she got a credit card in your name without your permission, then you can press charges for identity theft. just think long and hard about it. you could do irreparable damage. |

file a police report and have the law take care of it. |

My first thought is that there is much you are leaving out of the story. You are very willing to put out identifiable information about your "daughter" , you do not seem able to spell pretty simple words, and are accusing someone of a crime.
Your motives are suspect as is your identity as her father. If indeed the relationship is a real one, then my suspicion is that you have more to worry about than the money. A child who steals from a parent is usually angry over precieved wrong done to them. Sometimes it is that things don't seem fair so they are attempting to level the playing field as it were.
If she has your credit card you need to cancel it immediately. If she lives at home you will need to change your locks to prevent her getting more money or credit cards from you.
Since she has a good paying job, I suggest you seek proffessional help in the form of therapy for you both. Chances are you will not see her for a number of years once she knows she has been found out.. but if you do see her, you will both need to do some fence mending and get therapy to find out what is actually wrong in your relationship.(her having money of her own indicates this is an emotional pay back)
Putting out identifiable information about her is just plain wrong and if she came to me with her side of the story I think I would tell her to take action against you for this invasion.(not stealing from you however. A legal remedy.)
There is nothing more important than family and I hope you can rebuild yours. |

file police report and get it taken of your name you are not liable if you can prove it. On the other hand the daughter wil probably do time for her ID theft. Do the crime do the time.. |

Take her to small claims court. Get the judge to make her pay the bills and to keep peace with your daughter. |

Lock her up. She needs to learn. She'll hate you, but she already doesn't respect you so what does it matter? |

?

You could always sell her to gypsies and use the money to pay off your bills. |

i would sue her family or not, why put what little credit you have in the toilet and let her get off scott free.
BUT I think you are really being unfair to put out her name and id into this forum........so that act alone makes me question your motives. |

i would first of all file charges she is old enough to know better then tell all credit bureaus that your a victim of identity theft do what you must |

The right thing to do is to turn her in, however when it come to your child, you have to do what your heart tells you.
I have a friend and her daughter worked at the same Credit Union that she had an account at. Her daughter was around 18 years old at the time and she took $2000.00 from her Mothers account. The Mother did go to the Credit Union and asked why the money was missing and why was it that she wasn't required to sign something.
The girl did lose her job and the Credit Union left it up to the Mother as to weather or not she would turn it in to the Police.
Long story short, that girl is now Forty and she is in Jail for taking money from her employer. She was in a very Trusted position, Office Manager.
So did it really help the girl that her Mother didn't turn her in years ago? Maybe if she had, the girl would of learned a good lesson while she was young?
The tragic part is, her daughter now has Four children, 18 years to 12 years of age and this has been very hard on them. |
