Great choice!!! There is literally something for everyone on Carnival! My boyfriend wanted to relax, I am more of the dance to the caribbean music with a frozen drink in my hand, and it suited us both nicely. It really irritates me that people knock Carnival before they try it, and I can guarantee that 99% of the people that say Carnival is the Walmart of cruising have never been on one themselves.
I used to knock Carnival as well, because I would say things on what I have heard other people talk about, but guess what... My thought did a 180 when I experienced the cruiseline myself, and now I am addicted to Carnival cruising.
Try it for yourself, and you will see!!

for the 40 year old that wants to relax i recommend princess. i love royal caribbean but it isn't the cruise for people wanting a relaxing vacation. i hear princess is pretty fun too! |

Don't have idea where you will be leaving from; but I recommend Celebrity. Cost is a little more than Royal Carribean but well worth it. I have been on Royal Carribean, Holland America, and Celebrity & I like Celebrity best. |

when i went on a carnival cruise, i LOVED it!! i was 14 and looking for teen fun also. however, i had my cousin with me and if ur 17 year old is the only teen, it might have an impact. theres plenty to do such as sports and swimming and stuff. theres something called camp carnival and theres a teenage one, but it wasnt that fun for me and my cousin. have you tried looking at princess cruises? im going on one in july and have been researching like crazy for stuff to do and it looks pretty awesome. for the party goer, relaxer, and 17 year old. good luck!!

It might be OK, but I like to call Carnival the wallmart of cruise companies. Why not give Princess a try. That would be great for all in your party. |
