6th Floor of the Majesty of the Sea?

We are going on the Majesty of the Sea for our honeymoon. Can anyone tell me how the 6th floor is? We go a F1 Ocean Stateroom. If you can explain it to me or email me pics it would be great. I am just curious. Is it quite at night or is there alot of noise?

The Majesty is one of Royal Caribbeans older ships, launched in 1992, and it does the Bahamas and Key West itinerary. You can look at the ship's features on this web site:

http://www.royalcaribbean.com/multimedia/virtualTour/ship.do;jsessionid=0000MWdKbLbZ4jX_8JDvTETNyOm:12hbiocus?shipClassCode=SS

The amount of noise you have will depend in part on whether your cabin is next to an elevator bay/stairwell and also on what the crowd of people are like on your cruise. I have been on many cruises and rarely have any noise in our cabin, other than what we make.

6th floor on this ship is known as the "tween" deck. There are cabins above and cabins below. Should be quiet unless your neighbors make noise (or you do - congratulations)

Go to the cruise line web site, click on the ship that you are taking and look up your room there. They will not have a specific photo of your room, but will have a generic photo of the type of room you will be staying in.

go to RCCI, and they have the layout of the rooms. Make sure the floor above you (directly) doesn't have a public area like a bar, pool, ect. Likewise, the floor below you. You will have a great experience I am sure. Have FUN.

Go to Travelosity on the web, click cruises. Then pretend you are looking to book and pick the ship your going to be on as the ship you want to book. You will get deck plans and you can click on deck 6 and find ocean staterooms. You will be able to see a picture of your room.
Also go to .....cruisecritic.com....and you can pick your ship and read everything on the forums that people ask and get many answer's to. You will learn everything you need to know in this website. Its fun and very addictive. Lots of people add their own picures of their cruise and rooms on the ship.

I cruise a lot & have never found the noise from the halls disturbing at night. You can usually see a virtual tour of the staterooms by going to the website of your cruiseline
