About a trip to the tropics?

We are planning our summer trip and wanted to return to tropics, we are looking for a cruise line that goes there and and allows you to use the boat as a hotel. Most cruises I have looked only stop at each place for about 10 hours, Do you know of any good ones that actually stay in the tropics for the entire 7 days

A great option for you could be a Chartered Yacht Vacation. You rent your own yacht, choose your entire itinerary, everything is inclusive (accommodations, meals, drinks, watersports, etc) you have a private chef and staff that are there to simply cater to your needs. If you are looking for a cruising option that doesn't involve thousands of others with an itinerary designed for that many, look into this option. You can find some for as low as $250 per night. There's not many vacations that include everything and is completely flexible for that. They also include your shore excursions, and you decide the places and islands that you want to visit. Often times, you are able to visit little known places that the majority of people never get to see. The captain and crew are very knowledgable and will tell you the best places that can be found. There are not many cruise ships that let you go to the captain and say, "hey, see that island over there? I'd like to visit it!" but on a chartered yacht, that's exactly what you can do!

The only ships that stay longer than the day are the Bermuda cruises. The smaller ships that visit St. George and Hamilton will stay a few days in each port. You can get on and off the ship, which is basically your "hotel". Try checking Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and NCL (as a last resort). All the other cruises, visiting the Caribbean, do not do overnights.

no not that i heard of the ones that Ive seen are the same ones u are talking about did u think about staying at one island and taking about to another i don't know where u have in mind but if you go to PR or to the Dominican republic u can take a boat from one island to the other.

Try www.moorings.com. They offer private yacht charters (where you can charter the whole yacht w/ capt. & cook) or yacht sailings where you book a stateroom on board and share the yacht with others (you still agree on the destinations w/ the capt. before sailing, but have to also agree with the others also sailing).
