This is from Carnival's FAQs page

How old do you have to be to travel alone?

Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older. The exceptions Carnival will make to this policy are:

Married minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple is married. The couple must have proof of marriage at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.

NO, No, no!!! those other folks are wrong.

All of the cruise lines, i repeat ALL, require that at least one passenger in each cabin be at least 21 years of age. Carnival requires at least one person to be at least age 25.

Besides that, if you go with anyone other than your parent the cruise lines require a written approval from your parents.

Sorry but those are the rules for all of the major cruise lines serving the US, like Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Celebrity, and Holland America.

the only cruise line that i know that allows it is Disney. You can go alone when you're 18. They are pretty fun, you should go!

To cruise unaccompanied, most lines require guests to be 21 years old, or accompanied by someone 21 years old (25 on some lines). The only exceptions are:
- Disney, which allows 18 year olds to cruise
- Married couples under 21 are allowed on RCI and Carnival

But if some of your friends are 21, you should be able to find something. A few lines allow you to have just one 21 year old chaperone, others say each person under 21 needs to share a cabin with a 21 year old.
