1.Don't pack alot, most people do
2. Bring formal clothes for the formal night dinner, its a fun experience
3. Go to the shows & concerts on-board they are usually pretty good
4. If your a pop drinker, buy a pop card/sticker which gets you unlimited pop for the whole cruise. they are about 15$. otherwise its 2 or 3 dollars a pop.
5.Get off the boat and explore
6. Get up early to get a pool side Lounge chair
7. The first seating dinner (6pm) is better than the late dinner (8 pm) otherwise you might be to tired for the show after
8. try the night club or jazz club on ship
9. Dont book a room right next to the elevator
10. Buy duty free on and off the ship (super cheap)
11. Go to the marriage game show (funniest thing ever!)
12. Get room service atleast one day for breakfast or lunch(its free)
13. watch the time so u can make it back to the ship in time
14. do atleast 1 fun excursion off the boat (snorkeling + zip lines are my fav)
15. Meet new ppl and make new friends
16. Bring a battery powered alarm clock, the cabins dont have clocks or alarms that light up except for on the telephones which are in Army time..(1600 hrs..ect.)
17. Last morning on the boat before you get off, do a sit down breakfast in the dining room.......the buffet lines will be SUPER long cuz everyones getting off at the same time. everybody forgets the sit down breakfast..which has the same food

1. Don't over-pack - on a first cruise you'll probably not need 50% of what you bring with you.
2. Don't forget a camera.
3. Don't forget sunscreen (sun-poisoning on the first day is unpleasant)
4. If you know what excursions you want to take, make your reservations early in case they fill up.
5. Always bring at least one pair of long pants and a sweater/sweatshirt for when it gets chilly. Out on the water, when the sun goes down, the temp can drop pretty quickly. |

My wife and I have been on approx a dozen and we love them.
South Pacific- If possible take some swim fins and masks with you. You should have wonderful snorkeling.
-I always take two suits with me for the evening meals and the wife lots of nice clothes.
When you first get on make sure you care a change of clothes, your luggage may not get to your room until after supper
The worst part for me is getting on and off ( the lines) but I'm getting better.
Take some sea sick precations( we find wrist bands are best for my wife)
Listen to your travel agent
Just relax and have fun |

my wife & I always seem to have a good time. Souvenirs sold on ships are more expensive than what you buy on shore. Food is very good, but normally you will have dress up evenings unless you eat at the buffet bar. Have fun. |

You will have so much fun!!! Be sure to bring a bag with you with a change of clothes, any medicine you take, toothbrush (stuff like that) since your bag may take a while to get to your room. You will have to do a safety test where you will have to put on your life jacket and go to your designated spot on the boat if there should be any problems. That to me was the worst part of the whole thing. Bring another small suitcase or bag for your souvenirs unless you have enough room in your other suitcases. Expect to eat alot!! There is always food everywhere you turn. |

Just stay away from the drugs and drunks aboard ship and there are plenty of them. Apart from that you should have a good trip - enjoy. |
