Am i going to have fun on my cruise even though i'm 16? |
I'm 16 and I'm nervous about going on my cruise. I'm taking my friend with me along with my parents, but i'm worried that there won't be any teenagers my age on board. I'm going during school so thats why I'm kind of iffy about there not being many people to hang out with.

Most cruise lines these days have teen oriented activities, some more than others(Carnival, Disney, and Royal Caribbean come to mind immediately, though Carnival is the most popular family cruise line, mainly due to price). You won't be able to go to certain areas of the ship with age restrictions obviously, but you should enjoy yourself and find other teenagers to hang out with, especially this time of the year. I would suggest if you meet people you want to hang out regularly exchange suite information and before you leave, e-mails. |

Absolutely you will have a blast. Cruises are great for young people as well as old. Just look for the club for your age group. For example Carnival has the "club 02" for people between the ages of 15-17. Everything will be geared toward you, even the exursions. Be sure to check it out.
You will watch movies, play video games, all with people your own age. You can even go on shore excursions with your new friends, rather than your parents. Wish I had that when I was that age. |

No you won't be bored. Cruise ships have different things going geared for different age groups. My daughter had a fantastic time on the Disney Cruise (which is centered around the kids having fun). Don't worry, you will not be bored no matter what time of the year you go. |

You will not be bored. There are so many things to do on the ship that you'll probably have a blast the whole time. And there will definitely be teens your age, or possibly a little older....like college age who are out of school.
Definitely don't worry about it! A cruise to Mexico is bound to have lots of do and lots of young people on board! |

I am about that age and I have been on some cruises...So I can tell you from experience...
You will have a blast...and there are plenty of teens onboard don't worry bout not having much teens around...
I know on royal caribbean they have a teens program were you can go rock climbing and hang out with teens your age.
