It's true there's no tax or duty. I'm sure there might be hidden taxes in the cost of the product, but none are added on to the price. What you see is what you pay. Here's a hint, wait until the end of the cruise when just about everything goes on sale, sometimes discounted greatly! Spend the first days of your cruise shopping for what you want, then buy everything the last day the shops are open.
How cheap is everything? Well, it can be a bit pricey, but it depends on what you want. For example, the watch I'm currently wearing I bought on our last cruise. On the cruise we bought it for $80-something. On land, at the ports we stopped at, the same watch was around $100. I haven't checked the price at home though, so I can't comment on that. |

Have been with Carnival 3 times. One tip: hold off on buying that tee shirt. They discount these kind of things near the end of the cruise. Liquor (off sale) is reasonable, however, they keep it for you till the last day. Pringles are $3.50 a can on board, but who needs 'em when the ship is like a floating Golden Corral!!!
Carnival is a very nice cruise line and is family and younger person oriented. All Carnival ships have a water slide (all ages) |

honestly, you only save a few bucks but sometimes they will offer more then what you get at the store. i got dkny apple for 45$ and it came with two reg sized bottles. at the local macys its around the same price for one. there is a good price on alcohol and cigs. |
