Having been on 7 Carnival and 1 RCL, I prefer carnival. Like any other vacation, there are good things and bad but overall the experiences we have had have been awesome, so much that we have 3 more planned before the end of the year.
You will find plenty to do, depending on your interests. I also recommend going to cruisecritic.com, the site has boards where just about any question can or has been answered, and more than a few you dont want to know about. Also that site has reviews by ship and roll call sections to join in with others on the ship. Have fun and I hope you get hooked like the rest of us |

Everyone I know that has been on Carnival say that it's designed for fun. Don't expect the absolute best service or food for a cruise, but expect to have a good time |
