I have been on the Golden two times and I'm going again this fall. It's a beautiful ship very much like the rest of Princess's ships. I can't think of a thing I didn't like. I really liked Sabatini's restaurant for a special occasion, but go very hungery. They feed you a lot. Even though the ship is not new, it feels like it is. The swimming pools are great because you can sit in shallow water without really getting into the pool. For me it is just the right size of a ship. The only ship I really didn't care for was the Regal which Princess has now retired. It was just too dated, but my cruise through the Panama canal on the Regal was a great cruise. I am so looking foward to going on the Golden again in October. |

i have been on the golden princess. Both times it has been a very pleasant experience. Crew is friendly and curteous. Entertainment is alot of fun. Theres always something to do. Be patient with other passengers in line and nice to those working on the ship.

I was on it a few weeks ago, in Alaska. It was perfect! If you decide you want to go on a cruise, you can book thru our co-op and get half the commission (as your salary as a outside sales travel agent) |

We sailed from Southampton on a cruise on board the Golden Princess. Very nice ship with a really good crew. Food, entertainment and cabin were all good.
Like all Princess ships, you have to be really fussy and nit picking to have anything to complain about.
It depends where you are going, but if you want to view in comfort and warmth when entering or leaving port, the best place is the nightclub over the stern of the ship (in the aerofoil wing).
I would sail on the Golden again. |
