Anyone know any specific cruise ships that will allow 5 people into an interior or oceanview cabin?

No, they max out at 4 to a regular room. Unless there's another bedroom. I feel pretty sure that they would not make any exceptions on that except maybe if one of them was an infant in a crib. Probably not even then, honestly.

Royal Caribbean has some ships - Voyager class and Freedom class, that have a type of stateroom with a very tiny second bedroom (basically a closet with two bunk beds inside) that I believe will sleep up to 6 (there's a pullout sofabed). I think they were called Family Promenade staterooms or something like that. Look into these 7 Royal Caribbean ships: Freedom, Liberty, and Independence of the Seas, and Voyager, Explorer, Navigator, and Mariner of the Seas. They have an interior version and a balcony version, IIRC.

You very well might do best (price-wise) by booking two interior cabins side-by-side on a less expensive ship, though.

Disney cruise line is the only one that has space for 5 in a STANDARD inside or ocean view cabin. Royal Caribbean, NCL, and Carnival all offer FAMILY STYLE SUITES that can accommodate up to 8 people. Depending on the ages of your children, you may find it more advantageous to get 2 separate cabins... either two that connect or two that are next to/ across from each other. Sometimes it is less expensive to do it that way than it is to get a suite that would hold that many. I would call Carnival. I know we were going to put all 5 of us in one room on the Triumph and it was possible but one kids decieded not to go On the Legend The rooms have 2 twin/king beds and a sofa sleeper with a pull down, possibly some of the rooms have 2 pull downs. If the kids are smaller they might be able to share the sofa sleeper. Ive been on both ships and both are very nice choices. the Legend is a little more user friendly

Disney is NOT the only one as the above poster said. Carnival can accommodate 5 as well. I don't believe the ship has anything to do with it. A room set up for 5 consist of 2 twins, 2 fold down beds and one roll away cot. You may want to ask Carnival which ships have the adjoining rooms. Much more room, two bathrooms and still cheaper than a suite!

I believe Carnival's ship Holiday (out of Mobile AL) does. It's an older ship and was built differently than the newer ones. Holiday is not for everyone - if you're looking for rock climbing walls, ice skating, or an atrium, it's not there. The ship is, however, charming, friendly, and a great value for your money.
